Making Sport Team Banners : GIMP Rectangle Select tool for photo cropping

The tool has many options, but one of the most basic options is the size and type of select<ref>https://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-tool-rect-select.html#tool-rect-select-options</ref>. === Brief ===Click the tool option for Fixed: and use "aspect-ratio"; and set the size to the size wanted (e.g. 4:6 for a 4" x 6" print, or specific size spec 2265:5385) Using a full pixel dimension will give you the most accurate aspect ratio if not a standard size.
