Most of what is here should derive from experience and the various domains of expertise of all our contributors. The overwhelming impetus behind the effort to take this project from idea into practice is the fact that individuals in the United States are at ever greater risk of losing their opportunity for free technology at the same time that free technology is becoming so amazingly abundant and easy to use. The idea is that by building a community, it will create synergies that make a sum greater than the value of all its parts. To add to the fun and excitement, there is now a '[http://www.freephile.com/sitebar/ Bookmark Server]' available.
