Ayurveda is the traditional system of medicine in India and Nepal. Meditation, yoga and massage are among ayurvedic therapies.
Yoga is an exercise of the mind and body.
Interestingly, I stumbled upon this video by Rashmi Ramesh about "Five pillars of a healthy lifestyle"
She tells us they are:
- Ahar (food) Eating agreeable (sattvic) food and eating in moderation.
- Vihar (recreation)
- Achar (routine)
- Vichar (thoughts)
- Vyavahar (behavior)
