Now, I'll be working to bring back the best of Freephile, combined with an improved infrastructure so that others can join me in the effort. Why am I building this website?[edit | edit source]
I'm motivated primarily by conscience (belief that the GPL carries with it important implications on a societal level), and so it is important in my life to not only adopt Free Software in my own consumption of technology, but also to help others do the same.
There is also a business-oriented goal that I have, perhaps secondary to the personal goal. I hope to show the business world (both those providing services and those receiving them) that there is a vibrant and expert pool of resources around this area, so more technology-dependant companies establish operations here, or contract with local providers. What do I do with my time?[edit | edit source]
