I'm motivated primarily by conscience (belief that the GPL carries with it important implications on a societal level, and so it is important in my life). There is also a business-oriented goal that I have, but if it never comes to pass I will not be disappointed. I hope to show the business world (both those providing services and those receiving them) that there is a vibrant and expert pool of resources around this area, so technology-dependant companies might establish operations here, or contract with local providers. This might seem like a longshot, but until then, people like me have to work in places like Cambridge which just isn't really neat and cool since it requires commuting at least 10 hours per week. I would rather spend that time playing trains with my sons, or doing something useful. | I'm motivated primarily by conscience (belief that the GPL carries with it important implications on a societal level, and so it is important in my life). Why did I build this site?[edit | edit source]
