Cracking is not good. It's breaking into other peoples' systems without authorization. Everytime you hear the media say 'hacking', that's what cracking is. The media (and the public) don't know the difference between hacking and cracking. Cracking is good. Hacking is clever. Hacking is making something work with what you've got, even when you think a more refined approach would be possible. We don't do cracking and don't condone it in any way. We love to hack on all things - whether it's a puzzle, a wood-working project, or most frequently some technology problem. There are tools for hacking and we've created a page just for that.
