The US and Worldwide legal systems are centerpieces of the current struggle by programmers to produce free software. At stake is our collective and individual freedoms. Read more about Software Patents, Software Copyrights, and Software Trademarks. Please recognize that Intellectual Property is a complete misnomer, and you should avoid using this term.
