Newburyport GNUS[edit | edit source]

(pronounced Newburyport News or 'guh-News' according to your preference)

This is a website in support of Free Software. There are many similar sites out there, but this one strives to focus on the local people in New England -- especially in the area of Newburyport, MA that develop and/or use Free Software. As such, we aim to create a community of people who can share their knowledge, and solutions here. This website is editable by all users, so YOU can contribute. No contribution is too small, however, there is also a need to focus on quality as much as quantity. Hopefully, you will find both here.

So, login (not necessary, but a good idea) and start creating some useful content, like this one about video playback on Linux, or this one about upgrading to Fedora Core 2 or adding MP3 support to FC2

Site Goals provides more details about the vision for this website.
