You do have Backups, right?

Sometimes, you need or want to archive a whole website. Something like wget or HTTrack would do the job. But, how do you back up the Internet?

The Archive Team in general, and the sub-group wikiteam are very interesting. The Archive Team in general archives parts of the Internet before they disappear. WikiTeam is the Archive Team subcommittee on wikis. WikiTeam software is a set of tools for archiving wikis. The tools work on MediaWiki wikis, but other wiki engines are planned. As of January 2016, WikiTeam has preserved more than 27,000 stand-alone wikis, several wikifarms, regular Wikipedia dumps and 34 TB of Wikimedia Commons images.

Internet Archive

Internet Archive is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, and more. It is also the home of the "Wayback Machine" that lets you browse historical versions of webpages - even those lost to time.
